Porcelain Tea Bowl handmade on the potters wheel.
Glazed in Blue Gold Satin. This glaze takes a special firing where the kiln is controlled during the cooling cycle to open opportunities for crystals to grow. This particular glaze has a silky satin feel to it. It is great for dinnerware and allows for growth golden spangles and crystals that flow and move with the glass in the glaze. It takes many attempts of trail and error to get results that are cherished like this.
