Created using traditional Porcelain methods orginating in Arita, Japan. These techniques focus on creating forms by hand and pre-date the industrial revolution. The Arita ways are still in use today and bring opportunities to create works of art at the highest level. I strive to use these methods as a base from which new forms are able to emerge. Next I combine extensive glaze research and innovation with the porcelain clay forms to bring new shapes, colors and crystalline formations to life.
